We appreciate the efforts of the University to carry out this project in such ways as to repair and update this significant structure, while also being careful to retain and enhance its historic form and character. The building is now over 100 years old, yet this thoughtful project makes possible the continuing use of the building as a notable element of the campus well into the future. Thus, this project serves as an example to the local community of the value of preserving our past.
